The man responsible for culture's favorite killer doll—who wrote all seven feature films in the franchise, directed three, and was showrunner for the TV series—will join us for a Q&A with programmer Anthony Hudson (Queer Horror, Vault of Horror) between BRIDE OF CHUCKY (1998) and SEED OF CHUCKY (2004).
In BRIDE OF CHUCKY, directed by Ronny Yu, Chucky (Brad Dourif) is resurrected by his old flame Tiffany (Academy Award nominee and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Jennifer Tilly)—before long, Chucky traps Tiffany's soul in a doll and the two head off on a road trip with Katherine Heigl, Kathy Najimy, and John Ritter. In SEED OF CHUCKY, directed by Mancini, Chucky and Tiffany find themselves on a Hollywood film set as props in a movie starring the real-life Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany. Can our killer dolls evade paparazzo John Waters and transfer their souls into Jennifer Tilly and Redman’s bodies—and still find time to raise their nonbinary kid (Billy Boyd)?
